GOOD TO KNOW
Quick questions.
Clear answers.
Is CoYoMu designed specifically for the car?
Yes. CarPlay and Android Auto are central to the experience: clearly organised audio categories, quick access to favourites and history, and playback shared with the phone app. The exact screens and available actions depend on your vehicle, operating system and vehicle host.
Do I need my own server?
You do not need your own server for public podcasts or internet radio through Radio Browser. To listen to your own music or audiobook collection, connect a supported server such as Navidrome, Audiobookshelf, Plex or Jellyfin.
What is free, and what is included in Pro?
Public podcasts and Radio Browser are free to stream on phones and tablets. Your own servers, downloads, offline playback, CarPlay and Android Auto require Pro or an active 30-day trial.
Can I listen without an internet connection?
With Pro or an active trial, you can download supported audio files and play them from the offline library. Finish your downloads before you drive. Live radio and content you have not downloaded need a connection; not every stream type supports downloads.
Does the trial automatically become a subscription?
No. You explicitly activate the 30-day trial yourself. There is no automatic payment afterwards. Pro is a permanent, one-time purchase. Your profiles, favourites and listening positions are not deleted when the trial expires.
When can I download CoYoMu?
We are preparing the App Store and Google Play launch. A release date and Pro price have not been announced yet. Once the app is available, you will find the download links here.
